The Author
Christian Meinke is designer and artist with a keen interest in minimal electronic music and a passionate curiosity for refreshing sounds and unique approaches within this intricate musical framework. Since 2003 he runs the independent resource and netlabel minlove, promoting various forms of minimal techno and house as well as more abstract excursions into the realms of gritty minimalism.
His design activities are passionately devoted in creating unique designs and websites while retaining a high level of accessibility and attention to every detail. He's currently working for labels such as Süd Electronic, Nataural Anthemes, Pariter and Mineral.

Minlove is independent resource and presentation platform for projects within the context of minimal electronic music. Established in 2003 by Christian Meinke - minlove stands for a passionate interest in a specific musical framework ranging from minimal techno & house to various forms of more abstract interpretations of these styles.
This blog documents the extensive research for innovative and unique projects within this context and reflects the constantly changing connection between minimal electronics, influences of popular music genres and cultural as well as technological changes and developments.
Our main interest is to showcase refreshing projects while promoting a growing international community using the possibilities of the net. Minlove offers space for clever and unique ideas and gives an opportunity to promote projects, labels and records while connecting like-minded people within these fields of activity.
minlove : netlabel
The minlove netlabel was founded in december 2003 by Christian Meinke. Until 2004 he used the project mainly to publish own experiments ranging from abstract electronics to more house-influenced minimal stuff.
In the second half of 2005 he reconsidered the concept and orientation of the netlabel and decided to split the output into two main categories. While the 1st section is exclusivly reserved for releases that are smoothly attached to our series of label.showcases, the 2nd category is open for everyone and aims to showcase fresh and unique sounds within the musical context described above.
We are always looking for artists who identify themselves with minlove's musical approach and background. If you are interested, send your demo and a brief description/profile via snail mail or just send an e-mail with corresponding weblinks if you like to provide your material online.
