Born in 1977 Jan Krueger started djing at düsseldorfs legendary house-club Ratinger Hof in 1995 and simultaneously began to work at a record store called flipside. Here he had the deep house and minimal section under his wings. After a while he got bored of the musically ignorant audience and mainly ibiza house-orientated scene at Ratinger Hof and focused on hosting his own electronic parties at locations like the Unique Club or Coffy starring internationally re-known guests.

This also got him in touch with Matthias Tanzmann of Moon Harbour records. Both clicked right away and found out that they have a quite similar record collection and musical background, which finally led to the release of Kruegers his first EP on Moon Harbour (mhr007) - a mixture of deep and minimal house called “Cassis EP”. In 2004 he contributes the track “Sonora” (mhr014) for a split 12” on Tanzmann’s imprint. this helped Jan to get his name more out and score more gigs - home and abroad. Presently he holds residencies at Tanzhalle St. Pauli / Hamburg and Harpune / Düsseldorf spinning his highly individual and addictive mixture of deephouse, minimal and techno with rough edges.
In 2004 Jan moved from Düsseldorf to Hamburg to start working as a domestic and export sales manager for hip record distribution company WordAndSound. In 2005 he launched in collaboration with his very close friend Daze Maxim Hello? Repeat Records.
