Altiply is the sound of an extremely small tea kettle simmering on a microscopic hotplate somewhere around a campfire next to the CPU of a digital answering machine where daily messages are left influencing sociopolitical thought amongst the world's most prominent intellectuals.

Within this peculiar raspy wail an occasional identifiable or perhaps only mildly decomposed sound may rise to the surface, but only as to provide a cyptographic mask concealing the underlying base of tonal banter between waring alien factions in tense negotiations over unevenly distributed territories dispersed mostly between the red and blue divisions of our visible spectrum. Skillfully avoiding ensnarement in rapidly detiorating and/or mutating musical genres, Altiply, the sound of this infinitesimal tea kettle, is a muse to Ian Read as he labors on a project he hopes will in more than one way reflect it's namesake and the toll it has taken on his psyche.

Ian Read has in the past collaborated on the wildly popular and universally revered Electronic Music Composer project for Planet-Mu with Kenneth James Gibson (who it should be noted was recently pronounced a sovereign and previously undiscovered state of matter). Ian also has an ongoing collaborative relationship with the extraordinary revolver of musical media called Three and his label Hallucination Ltd. which is home to many highly contagious thought viruses mostly known for causing lowered cholesterol and uplifting positivity although brief but persistent visions of a tye-dye wearing chinchilla have been documented in approximately %.06 of the labels listenership.

An Altiply split EP with [a]pendics shuffle is forthcoming on Skor Records, sometimes praised for it's incredible raspberry marmalade but mostly recognized for it's outstanding dub and electronic releases. Finally, a full length Altiply release is confirmed on Adjunct under the tentative title 'h@x0r s3x0r'.
