hello003-35px.jpgBruno Pronsato - Wade In the Water, Children (12")
label . Hello? Repeat
Release date . March, 2006

Hello? Repeat, a young and promising project based in Hamburg, Germany run by Jan Krüger (known for releases on Moon Harbour) and Daze Maxim aka. Heartz4. After two highly refreshing and acclaimed 12"s by Heartz4, Bruno's „Wade In the Water, Children“ not only reflects (one's again) his large musical capability and variety, but also the label's multifaceted take on musical experiments firmly rooted between deep house and state-of-the-art minimal techno.

The title track features an inspiring variety of highly detailed ingredients, ranging from alienated vocal fragments, microscopic sonic pops and bleepy effects up to Pronsato's typical and amazing bass treatments. The result is an infectious mix of organic sounds and ever-shifting patterns forming a hypnotic style that is too sparse and groundbreaking to be called techno. On the flipside „The River“ freely works out the the usual suspects and combines them to complex, yet lightweight patterns and dense layers of harmonic texture - an authentic Pronsato - true to form.
Cinelli's remix of „The River“ is consolidating the quirky talents and sounds of both producers while adding a more rough and distorted sound to the finely-woven melange of detuned synths and groovy bass lines that rounds up this EP perfectly.

Hey Jorge,
Thanks for your fedback. Currently listening to your "jorgeous" promo mix from March 06. Like it a lot -- pretty difficult to concentrate on my work here while nodding to the groove... =)
Take care... Christian

Thanks for the friendly reminder... seems I forgot to link to Bruno's website. My favourite: Jorge Savoretti's clicking and sweeping rework...
