The japanese quartet featuring So Inagawa, Sackrai, Yone-ko and Kesu is back with 4 marvellous minimal tracks on Goosehound, another new and refreshing US label hailing from New York City. Run by Sean Smith of Socks & Sandals and CEDE, who's well known for his highly creative and unique artworks for Microcosm Music, this promising project 'll cheer the heart with another two lovely 12"s coming this spring featuring artists such as Ezekiel Honig, Barem, Butane, Pocket Pet a.o.

Fans of the sparkling floor will surely adore the sublime 4/4 patterns of „Gunsi“ covered by occasional subtle synth's and aurally rich found sound fragments. Subtle digital hums and hisses are providing the backdrop for a finely woven, yet transparent carpet of glitchy textures and sudden twists of quirky elements and dusty vocal samples. Overall a truly remarkable 12" full of inspiring depth and soulfull warmth and a marvellous introduction to the sound of Goosehound. Recommended!
