Johan Fotmeijer, one of the rising stars in the swedish underground. With fine releases on labels such as Boxer, Italic and Mitek he is gaining international recognition. It all started with the mysterious character Claudia Bonarelli and it was all about click, cuts and deep dubby soundscapes.

In 2003 he met Martin Jarl and they formed Televerket. All the clicks where gone and their style was a mixture between the detroit and munich sound, moving more towards the dancefloor than the bedroom. In the year of 2004 he moved to the capitol of Sweden and started release stuff under his real name.

The style right now reflects his diverse musical background - electro, rock, techno, hiphop, acid, minimal and it's allways moving towards the sound of tomorrow. One of his more recent projects is Luus, the result of the joined powers of producers Mikael Stavöstrand and Johan Fotmeijer, The two producers met up in Stockholm a couple of years ago, but it is first recently they started to work on music together and the result is Luus, music aiming for
the sweaty clubs with both a deep and melodic touch.

In person, Johan is an interesting character, quiet but with a subtle undlerlying sense of humor, traces of which also can be found within his music. On stage he is everything but quiet, if you get a chance to see him
live you will find a young man energetic as a three-year-old overdosing on drugs and a taste of what's bubblin´ in the hottest underground...
