Modern electronic music
That’s pretty much what Milnor is all about. Started as a clubbing project back in 1998, it soon moved to be closely linked to the Global Village Club in mid-German Dessau. There, Milnor activities spread on the fields of booking, graphic artwork and club decoration. In 2002, the idea of an own record imprint arose and was kept till its realization in March 2003 with Treplec’s founding of Milnormodern Records (MMR).

Its aim is to give attention both to respected producers and to promising talents. MMR should be seen as a platform for minimal, challenging Techno sounds with experimental links to other musical styles like Jazz, Dub and Trip Hop. In other words: Music for feet and brain.
