In 1986, at the age of 14, Jeff Milligan (aka :Algorithm) had his first exposure to electronic music via some of Chicago, Detroit and Toronto’s earliest alternative radio programs. A year later in 1987, Jeff decided to dedicate his life to DJing and producing music. His close proximity to the Great Lakes Triangle : Toronto, Chicago and Detroit, led Jeff to develop a foremost influence from the early years of American house and techno.

For Nils Scheibe aka Treplec, it all started in a typical way: Techno shows on the radio. Night after night he listened to broadcasts from the legendary E-Werk in Berlin. Eventually, he started buying and spinning the records he had heard. A few years later in 1998, he and some friends accomplished their dream of their own club in a basement: Milnor was born.

The Suffragettes are a production/dj team, consists of 4 young Japanese guys, so inagawa, sackrai, yone-ko, kesu, based on Nagoya and Tokyo. As their teenage days in early 1990's, they were inspired by bands like The Jesus and Mary chain, Suicide, Depeche Mode, Fishmans, The Smiths and Throbbing Gristle as well as early days' techno music like Richie Hawtin, daniel Bell, Fumiya Tanaka, DJ Hell and Detroit techno.
